Annette Summers is a Clinical Psychologist who commenced her career working with children and adolescents in mental health and school settings. Following on from this Annette spent over a decade working in an organisational setting selecting personnel for aviation careers in the Australian Defence Force. Annette subsequently established her private practice career in Coffs Harbour during 2017.
Annette is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS) and a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists (FCCLP).
Annette is also a Board approved supervisor for provisionally registered psychologists.
Annette has contributed to research in the discipline of psychology and published the following articles internal to Defence.
Summers Clinical Psychology Services works alongside people to define their goals. We assist people to connect to values through adapting or changing the way they think about and approach situations. Use of best practice evidence-based psychological therapies is aimed at teaching skills so that people have the tools to self manage outside of the therapy setting, and so that the gains made in therapy are long lasting.
